2010 Predictions

Sylvia Browne has been making predictions for decades and she just looks crazy. So, I decided to make my own predictions because after all, I am queen of "I told you so". I am taking a monster step with my own "I told you so's" and it makes me very excited to be here with you at this momentous juncture in my delicate middle age-dom. So here are "I told you so's" for 2010.

1. The devil shows himself as he is, an angry old man wearing a red suit, with horns, pitchfork and floating flames. He comes to remind us that we will go to hell, and spend eternity with him if we don't change our ways. He will tell us that to scare the gageebers out of us so we will stop doing all of that bad stuff, like fornicating with animals and stuff.

2. Jesus doesn't come (again) this year for he is loving the drama of it all.

3. Someone will try to blow up a plane.

4. My daughter throws a party while I am gone.

5. Some celebrities will die.

6. There will be some earthquakes.

7. The Catholic church makes some new rules, changes some old ones, and continues to cross itself while praying.

Perfection

What is perfection if it isn't in the eye of the beholder? what is perfect for one isn't perfect for another or another or another. Perfection is just that, perfection in its simplest form. true perfection is derived from a feeling of satisfaction. to be purely satisfied is to say it is perfect. so where does perfection come into play when i am not feeling like something is perfect. something is wrong, something is not right. well there is always something not right as it just is a matter of focus. where you put your focus. you can find everything that is perfectly right in a situation as but shift your mood just a little and there will be the imperfection. for nothing is truly what it seems. nothing can be truly perfect in this world of contrast. this world of contrast contains it all, so that you can choose. like the paint an artist will choose, you choose what you want. this wonderful diverse world contains it all and everyone is made up of all of those choices. those perfections and imperfections. it is all in the eye of the beholder. for each choice is made for a reason, made the the chooser to experience whatever they want to experience. no exceptions. and, it is all perfect, no matter how imperfect it may feel.
